With roots dating back to 1897, Cheyenne Frontier Days has a wealth of incredible stories to tell.
Combine that rich history with the immersive magic of augmented reality (specifically, web AR), and you get an exciting, incredibly interactive way to bring the stories of Cheyenne Frontier Days to life.
On February 16, we joined the Cheyenne Frontier Days team in welcoming local media and stakeholders to explore our latest collaborations: Interactive augmented reality posters that offer up a unique rodeo experience year-round, and immersive augmented reality videos that take you behind the scenes of some of Cheyenne Frontier Days’ most legendary events.
What we loved:
An opportunity to share an event many of us grew up with (and now attend with our families) through the lens of a technology we’re really excited about.
“It makes Frontier Days not just a 10-day event,” Cheyenne Frontier Days CEO Tom Hirsig told Cap City News. “People can experience it 365 days a year, so I think that’s a huge step.”
