Migrating Content and Building a New Website for the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services
Having an incredible amount of helpful content is a great problem to have—until people can’t find what they’re looking for.
That’s the problem we solved for the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services.
After conducting an intense content audit of more than 100 individual website pages and blog posts, we presented our best recommendation for the new website architecture—including condensing, combining, and removing existing content. Then, we migrated the remaining pages, posts, and media files to a brand-new WordPress website.
Using what we’d learned during our content audit, we built the new Wyoming Department of Workforce Services website to best serve the needs of its visitors and eliminate existing pain points shared with us by the team. A key feature: The ability for specific users from each division to quickly and easily add content, make edits, and take ownership of site content.
Launched in the summer of 2022, the new website’s speedy load time, simplified navigation, and sleek, modern design creates an excellent experience for visitors.
