Improved Experience for State Agency Website Visitors

MAKING THE WYOMING DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH’S WEBSITE EASIER FOR VISITORS TO USE

The Wyoming Department of Health (WDH) needed to make their 1,200 page website mobile friendly, ADA compliant and simple for visitors to navigate.

After defining requirements, we developed content architecture/wireframes, designed the user interface, and migrated/built out all website pages on time and on budget.

Since deployment, we’ve developed an ongoing training program with WDH staff and have continued to manage website hosting.

How We Made the WDH Website Easier for Visitors (and Staff) to Use

Designed and developed a mobile-first, ADA-compliant website

Securely migrated 1,000 pages of content, 2,500 media files, and a 25-gigabyte database

Created 80+ website users across 40 unique permissions groups

Implemented SSL—a secure encryption process that hadn’t previously been in place—across all website communications

Established ongoing website training program
