Here’s how it all got started:
The Wyoming Rx Abuse Stakeholders (RAS) group came to West Edge Collective with a multi-year grant, focused on educating 12 to 35-year-olds about the dangers of opioid abuse and other forms of prescription abuse.
Over the past two years, the campaign has addressed opioid abuse (year one) and the issue of sharing prescription stimulants (year two) through the use of an interactive website, animated videos (placed socially and as interstitial ads on YouTube), and posters distributed to local junior high and high schools.
In 2019, the campaign had more than 300k impressions and nearly 70k video views, with the majority demographic being in the target age range of 18 to 35. Heading into its final year in 2020, we’ll update the campaign’s creative and additional interactive tools to gain further insight into the campaign metrics.
