Here’s how it all got started:

Used to be, plowing was only the first step in a long, tiring tillage process to prepare soil for planting. Ron Schlagel knew there had to be a better way—and he built a machine that worked so well, his friends started asking if he would build them one of their own. From these humble roots, Schlagel Manufacturing was born. Over the next 25 years, the product line has tripled (including the revolutionary Posi-Close Wheel) and is now carried by a nationwide network of nearly 300 dealers. Products made by farmers, for farmers, right from the beginning.

…and here’s what we did:

In 2018, Schlagel Manufacturing came to WEC for a new website. During that discussion, Bryan Schlagel (the second generation) realized they’d taken the marketing end of the business as far as they could on their own and were ready to take it to the next level. The first step was an updated brand, followed by a new website, product collateral, video content and a strategy to utilize these foundational pieces to relaunch the company nationally.

With two audiences, the farming community and their network of dealers across the country, an integrated plan utilizing industry print publications, social media and digital display ads was embarked on. In 2019, the production of additional video and collateral assets continued to feed the campaigns nationally.

In 2019, marketing efforts began to significantly affect the bottom line (in a really good way) and engagement statistics have continued to soar.
