Britz & Company designs, develops, manufactures and installs a comprehensive line of animal housing systems and animal care products for the biomedical research industry. With COVID-19 making face-to-face interactions and onsite sales calls a challenge, the Britz team came to us for help reaching their target audience online.
By having the West Edge Collective team refresh their existing website content and design, the Britz team hoped to make it easier for their visitors to reach out and learn more about their products.
After spending some time with the Britz & Company website, we identified inconsistent branding between the company and the individual brands they’d created for their signature products. We also found inconsistent page content and product layout, including a lack of call to action.
During the first part of our engagement, we discovered we couldn’t easily migrate the website from its previous host. To solve this, we transferred all the content and images from the existing site—one by one—into a new WordPress build. Next, we got to work on re-categorizing the site navigation to make it easier for visitors to use, as well as incorporating subtle brand updates, including a refreshed color scheme, to guide the website’s look and feel.
Through our ongoing content updates and optimizations, the website has developed a more cohesive brand identity and become a wonderful way for Britz & Company to communicate with their target audiences.
New website? Brand video? AR experiences people actually engage with? Yeah. We do that.
