Program Overview

Hello! We are so excited that you are interested in our Summer College Internship Program! This program focuses on teaching design, video, web, augmented reality and tech, while also honing in on soft skills and relationship development–all in an agency environment. Interns work through multiple projects, building up skills that you know and new ones that we teach. We also look critically at your future career development and path options, and how to develop a portfolio for career exploration.

Each program period is based explicitly on the direct interests of the interns selected, and exact program specifics will be unknown until we finalize participation. Ultimately, interns will spend time on video shoots, attending client meetings, creating projects and deliverables, and running around doing whatever crazy things we get up to here this summer!

Program Operations

This program will run for 8 weeks from June 1st through July 20th during the Summer, 2022. The program will meet 3 days per week, for a total of 24 hours per week. This is a paid internship via grant funding from the Wyoming Department of Workforce services, which will pay $12.00 per hour for up to 24 hours per week. This program takes place at the West Edge Collective building located in downtown Cheyenne. Applicants are expected to complete the internship on-site.

How to Apply

We will be accepting up to 3 applicants for the Summer 2022 program. Applications for the program will be open March 1st through March 31st, 2022. Applicants must submit a completed application plus portfolio work (details below) in order to be considered for an interview. Only digital application submissions via the online form will be accepted. Once materials have been submitted, staff will reach out to coordinate an interview in early April.
