Wyoming Office of Tourism

Here’s how it all started:

Nestled in the heart of Wyoming’s Wind River mountains, Allen’s Diamond 4 Ranch is a picture-perfect example of what draws tourists to visit our beautiful state. Turn in any direction, and you’re greeted with a sweeping landscape of wide-open spaces. Look to the sky, and it’s an endless canopy of blue skies and starlight.

When we arrived at the ranch to film Jessie Allen – former Miss Wyoming, and current ranch manager – we were confronted with a very Wyoming-unique situation: There was no electricity on the ranch to support the equipment we’d brought.

Luckily, Wyoming does its best showing off in natural light, and we used that to our greatest advantage by capturing Jessie hard at work on the ranch for as long as daylight allowed.

As twilight rolled in, Mother Nature supplied us with just enough backlight to create a stunning silhouette of Jessie striking a moonlit yoga pose. And for the finale, our girl Nature rolled out a stunning Wyoming starscape, perfect for creating one of our most stunning time-lapses yet.

… and here’s what we did:

Working with the crew at the Wyoming Office of Tourism, our team transformed a rough, pre-production outline of “who / what / when / where / why” into an engaging, three-minute video that was received exceptionally well on social media.

The final product beautifully captures “WY” thousands of tourists flock to our gorgeous state every year… and why us locals are proud to call it our own every day. We’re thrilled to be able to continue our relationship with the Wyoming Office of Tourism, and we look forward to working with them to help show off even more of the best parts of this gorgeous state we call home.

We brought West Edge Collective onto our integrated team early last fall to help support a creative concept that we simply didn’t have the internal resources to accomplish at the time. The end result has been a great partnership and collaboration that is extremely valuable to our team and the work that we’re doing together. Balancing input from a client team and a client’s Media and PR agency could be a tricky task, but West Edge Collective handled it beautifully. They quickly embraced the perspectives and roles of everyone at the table. Without doubt, their work is fabulous and effective – but their ability to integrate with our team to fully understand shared goals and objectives has gone above and beyond
